I am a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Center for Health Economics and Policy Studies (CHEPS) and the Department of Economics at San Diego State University. I am currently on the job market during the 2025–2026 academic year. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in 2024. My research spans public economics and applied microeconomics, with particular interests in the economics of crime, risky behaviors, health, and labor.

Research Interests
Much of my work to date has focused on youth populations in the United States. In my crime-related research, I study the impact of juvenile justice reforms on juvenile outcomes, with the longer-term goal of examining how these reforms affect vulnerable communities. In my research on risky behaviors, I investigate how vaping taxes influence both the physical and mental health of young individuals.

Work Experience
I served as a Lecturer at Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs (Fall 2022–Spring 2024). I previously taught at Rutgers University (Summers 2021–2022) and worked as a Research Assistant for Amanda Agan (2021–2022). In Spring 2022, I was a data analyst intern in the Office of the Assistant Attorney General of New Jersey. I also held multiple Teaching Assistant appointments at Rutgers University across the 2020–2021, 2022–2023, and 2023–2024 academic years.
